Apartment Clemence is a compact but elegant 17th-century apartment situated in the fashion district on the famous Place des Victoires. One of Paris’ five Royal Squares, it is arguably the prettiest. Originally built as a crescent, the first floor offered accommodation, and the pretty upper dormers would have been the servants’ quarters. Nowadays, the ground floor arcades are home to fashion boutiques. This beautiful façade is overlooked by the magnificent and imposing statue of King Louis XIV from his horse. On arrival, you will be greeted by a concierge service who will offer advice and recommendations for the best places to eat and visit and will also be on hand to make reservations on your behalf.  

Reached either by a stunning polished circular wooden staircase or elevator, you will enter the apartment through the kitchenette. Once inside, you’ll be greeted by a light and bright living area with views of the Paris rooftops. Tastefully decorated in neutral shades, the beamed ceiling is one of its stunning 17th-century features. Furnished with a double sofa bed, sofa chair, and television, it has a wooden floor and a modern dining suite. The kitchenette is fully equipped with everything you may need to conjure up local dishes using fresh ingredients from the local Rue Montorgueil. Featuring stylish white gloss units with lightwood working surfaces, a dishwasher is also provided. The bedroom is off the living area and features a double queen bed and sofa. Decorated in neutral hues of grey, it supplies a calming oasis after a busy day of exploring. Original 17th-century beams adorn the ceiling, and there is a hardwood floor. The tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower, a large modern basin with plenty of storage and a WC. A washing machine and dryer are also provided. 
Place des Victoires is a fashionable neighbourhood home to the top and cutting-edge designers. The vibrant and bustling Rue Montorgueil is close to the Les Halles area. Historically the iron-clad market of Paris, it now houses the main shopping area nestled between international restaurants and fast-food outlets. Running parallel is the High Street Stores of Rue de Rivoli, and it is the perfect place to visit if you enjoy high street shopping and access to fast eateries and lively bars.  A 10-minute stroll through the beautiful landscaped Palais Royal Garden will take you to the famous Louvre museum, home to some of the world’s greatest works of art, including the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. You can lose yourself for several hours wandering through the vast galleries of art and sculptures or taking a themed trail. Fancy a break? The magnificent Carousel and Tuileries Gardens are perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The area is well served by both the metro and buses and, for the energetic, a bicycle station is nearby. Paris and its multitudes of attractions, galleries, museums and landmarks will be open to you.   
Eating in Paris is one of its most excellent past times. The city’s gourmet dining scene is copied worldwide, but nothing can compare to the real thing. You will not be disappointed, from Michelin-starred restaurants to the romantic cafes on every street corner. The river Seine’s banks are a perfect place to find cool cafes and local bars to enjoy a meal with stunning views and a Parisienne atmosphere. Want to combine eating and sightseeing?
