Elsewhere, a nautical-themed bar and turquoise kitchen evoke the ocean and long summer evenings surfing the perfect peeling right-handers down at Malibu.
Down by the water’s edge, you can spend sunny afternoons fishing in the river, playing table tennis, soaking in the hot tub and listening to music on the provided speakers.
If you’re willing to shatter the Californian illusion, the centre of Paris is only around forty minutes away. So you can be living it up on the west coast one minute and gazing at the Eiffel Tower or wandering past world-famous artworks at the Louvre the next.
