Villa Pacific is a luxurious seafront five-bedroom villa, offering panoramic coastal serenity and contemporary cool. Set in a peaceful spot on the Greek island of Mykonos, the villa provides the ultimate family-friendly stay in the sun-soaked Mediterranean. There’s an outdoor pool looking out to the Aegean, a beautiful terrace and access to the surrounding complex’s facilities.
Decorated by a famous interior designer, the villa’s lavish rooms are full of soft furnishings and modern artworks. As well as generous living areas and six bedrooms sleeping 12 (all with en-suites and styled in peaceful, pastel colours), there’s a fitness room and a spa, where you’ll find a door leading down to the sea. There are also seven bathrooms – all in fitting with the elegant décor.
Although the villa is private, it’s part of a secluded complex, which means the dock, extensive gardens and onsite management are all part of the parcel. The area’s nicely off the beaten track too, but it’s only around a 15-minute drive to the centre of Mykonos and a 400-metre walk to the nearest beach with tavernas, shops and cafés. Some days, though, you might just stay put at the villa – the cooling pool, hot tub and dining terrace can be quite persuasive.
The garden area at Villa Pacific juts out over the cliff’s edge and is dotted with daybeds and loungers – with plenty of places to relax in the sun or the shade. The fully-equipped kitchen and dining area have sunset views, and the terrace is aptly placed for sun salutations too. Enjoy leisurely breakfasts on the sheltered dining table and evening dinners cooked on your traditional BBQ.

Sitting pretty in the beating heart of the island is Matoyianni Street in Chora. This maze of streets is bustling with shops, as well as a host of bars and restaurants. There, you can view the whitewashed houses with coloured wooden doors, narrow streets, beautiful chapels and vibrant bougainvillaea flowers contrasting with the bright white of the building’s walls.
In Mykonos Town, on the waterfront, there’s Little Venice – houses, which immerse from the sea. It’s a perfect spot to sit in one of the restaurants and watch the sunset. Probably the most famous landmark of the island – the 16th-century windmills – are also well-worth a visit.
For beautiful sandy stretches of shore, Psarou Beach is a popular choice for its crystal-clear waters. Korfos Beach is a perfect spot for kiteboarding, while Ftelia and Frangias Beaches are ideal if you’re seeking tranquillity. You’ll find there are plenty of opportunities for you to take part in water sports like snorkelling, sea kayaking and scuba diving.
For day trips, view the island from a different perspective and hop on a boat. You’ll see secluded beaches, extraordinary coves and can explore the coastline. Jump straight from the ship into the calm waters and admire the underwater life or relax on the deck while taking in the views.
