Rent Villa Lait Wild Greece
Holiday Home Rental Description
If there’s a more calming sight than the sun setting over the Mediterranean Sea, we’ve yet to spot it. This home only three hundred metres from the coastline on the Mani Peninsula offers a wonderful vantage point to catch this natural phenomenon, as well as some charmingly rustic living quarters, too.
Step behind the front door and you’re greeted by an interior full of terracotta tiles, wooden ceiling beams and exposed stonework. Although the large windows bring in lots of sunshine, we love the hanging mobile lighting above that makes for a rather romantic ambience. However, it’s not all traditional style – the kitchen’s sleek surfaces wouldn’t look out of place in a city apartment and the bathrooms are similarly contemporary-leaning, too.
It can’t be denied that this is an address at which you’ll be spending as much time outdoors as you do inside. The courtyard has everything you could want for a spot of relaxation, with the barbecue and alfresco dining table the perfect combo for the sort of feasts that stretch long into the night, while the hammock’s available for whenever you need to close your eyes momentarily.
Although there’s a small beach only three hundred metres from the home, there are bigger seaside spots not too far away as well – Panatzi is one kilometre north and Katafigi a similar distance in the opposite direction. The local area is well served by restaurants, taverns and bakeries, too.
