After waking up with a coffee at the breakfast bar, step into the sunshine on the balcony and breathe in the fresh air. Gaze across the glittering seascape as you lap up Greek yoghurt at the alfresco dining table before sliding on your sandals and exploring your surroundings.
Take the short drive over to Almiros Beach for a dip in the warm Mediterranean then nip over to Kalamata for its picturesque old town, selection of museums and long stretch of golden sand. Come evening, pick out a local restaurant for traditional dishes or return home for a slap-up barbecue and a couple of glasses of wine at sundown.
