If you’d rather someone else take on the cooking, then there are plenty of lavish seafood restaurants in the surrounding area – Glyfada is well-known for its affluent residents. Days at the beach couldn’t be easier, with the golden shoreline just a 300m wander away – paddle in the crystal clear water, or kick back on the sand with a great novel. And, if you want to head into Athens to do some sightseeing, then you can drive into the ancient city in around half an hour.
