You’re just 700 metres from the sandy Maleme Beach, or hop in the car to explore the charming city of Chania – the Venetian Harbour is an excellent spot to stop for a coffee. Head home in the evening for a chilled tipple and a knockout sunset – we recommend soaking it up from the hanging egg chair.
