Once an old mill, this villa has bags of charm from the stone-clad interior walls to the traditional Cretian archways and wooden ceilings in the living room. A banquet-size dining table is illuminated by pendant lamps, giving a distinctly 21st-century feel but the arched old fireplace in the kitchen is another reminder of the building’s past. Bedrooms are a relaxing medley of dove grey, stone and white, and the master bedroom has a fabulous Jacuzzi bathtub in its ensuite as well as its own kitchenette.
Days here were meant to be spent outdoors, and the huge garden is a testament to that. A turquoise swimming pool can save you from the heat of the day, or you can embrace the sun on one of the many loungers. The covered barbecue area has plenty of prep space alongside the built-in stone grill and outdoor dining is shaded by a pergola.
