Loungers fanned around an oval swimming pool and double day beds shaded from the sun; arriving at this villa it’s impossible not to slip into holiday mode straight away. From the huge main swimming pool (that’s right, there’s a second pool), you can stare out at the Aegean sea shimmering before you, perhaps from one of the two egg chairs are suspended above the turquoise water. A pergola runs the length of the terrace, shading a fully-stocked bar and banquet-sized dining table.
Heading up to the villa, you’ll find myriad balconies and hidden terraces off bedrooms for a quiet moment and the second swimming pool is in the spa area, where there’s a gym for those that want to keep on top of their fitness schedule. Inside, it’s a relaxing mix of honey and white with stone archways opening up the living area. The master bedroom has a traditional Cycladean stone bed, raised up from the ground.
If you fancy a day at the beach it’s just a couple of minutes drive to Kalafati Beach (or a fifteen-minute walk) and Mykonos Town is just fifteen minutes away by car.
