If you fancy the idea of hiding away in the foothills of Mount Ainos, then this laidback villa might be the perfect spot. Inside, it’s all clean lines, natural textures and uncluttered spaces. The sleeping quarters follow suit with crisp white linens and neutral tones. Make a beeline for the main bedroom – the freestanding tub was one of our favourite places to watch the sunset over the hillside.
Bowl outside to the terrace and find a spot to while away the hours. Make yourself comfortable on the day bed; doze quietly as the sheer curtains billow in a gentle breeze. When you’re ready to be revitalised, plunge into the pool and float about in the cool water. Come together with your loved ones at lunchtime for locally sourced produce and chunks of bread dunked in olive oil. And the best way to spend the evenings? Strolling down to the beach in time for the sun dipping down behind the horizon – it’s only 400 metres from your villa.
