The fabulous Villa Nikiana enjoys a wonderful location in the delightful village of Nikiana, just a few minute’s drive from Nidri and within easy reach of Lefkas Town and the stunning interior of this magical island. It is located on a hill enjoying total seclusion and breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea. What bliss! The villa offers three gorgeous bedrooms and a second lounge which boasts a sumptuous corner sofa arrangement that can sleep two extra guests.
Nikiana enjoys sand and pebble beaches, a pretty harbour and a wonderful array of welcoming traditional tavernas, cafes and restaurants. The village sits ten kilometres south of Lefkas Town and not far from the charming tourist village of Lygia. Visitors to Nikiana enjoy its peaceful, relaxed ambience. The villa is also within easy reach of the spectacular Nidri Waterfalls, one of the island’s most popular attractions. Though Lefkas’ beaches are superb and gorgeous, you should not forget the island’s stunning interior which is incredibly green and sprinkled with fabulous mountain villages and hiking and cycling trails.
Villa Nikiana’s stone exterior is very smart and modern in design. The main living space is open plan in design, a contemporary space with a stylish corner sofa sitting opposite the wall-mounted television and modern feature fireplace. The kitchen will please the chefs in your group with its excellent appliances and its sociable breakfast bar. Huge sets of sliding glass doors open to the terrace and those spectacular views. One of the bedrooms is also located on this level, a gorgeous double with views and an adjacent shower room. Guests enjoy luxury linens and beautiful soft furnishings in all of the bedrooms. The bathrooms are all beautifully tiled.
Upstairs, you will find the master bedroom. It is a wonderful room boasting huge picture windows so that you can wake in the morning to gorgeous views out to the Ionian Sea. It is very therapeutic watching the boats bobbing around. There is another bathroom adjacent to the master and a huge roof terrace.
The lower ground floor is home to the final bedroom, another spacious double room, and the second living space. Here you can easily sleep two extra guests or alternatively use the room for children who can relax watching a movie at the end of a busy day. The third bathroom is also located on this level.
The terrace is absolutely fabulous with a gorgeous pool surrounded by loungers and parasols, the perfect spot for your holiday read. Guests can dine alfresco with a view using the villa’s barbecue. There is even a pool bar to keep you refreshed while enjoying the Greek sunshine!

Nikiana is a delightful, unspoilt tourist resort surrounded by nature and boasting gorgeous scenery, sand and pebble beaches and a pretty harbour. Guests enjoy delicious cuisine in the local tavernas. It is brilliantly situated between Lefkas Town and Nidri.
The nearby resort of Lygia offers a small pebble beach and a busy fishing port which is surrounded by gorgeous fish tavernas, cafes and restaurants. Lygia was formally known for its salt production. Opposite the islet of the salt pans Alexandros, there is a medieval fortress.
Nidri is the largest of the tourist towns and is located just to the south of the villa. It enjoys amazing tourist amenities, spectacular sandy beaches, breathtaking views across the islets of Heloni, Sparti, Madouri and Scorpios, a wonderful dining scene and incredible scenery including famous waterfalls and the Dimosari Gorge. Nidri and Sivota are favourites with yacht charter firms with island hopping being very popular. Excursion boats take visitors to the local islets and the secluded coastal bays of Lefkas that are sometimes difficult to reach otherwise. Ferries take visitors to the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia. The gorgeous Geni peninsula is a ten minute drive from the villa. Geni village is a friendly, traditional fishing village where you will enjoy delicious feasts in its charming waterfront tavernas.
Lefkas Town, the island’s capital, is buzzy, picturesque and perfect for evening strolls, shopping and dining. The town is brimming with charming, narrow alleys, small vibrant squares, elaborate belfries and paved pedestrian areas. It is surrounded by a canal and a lagoon. Further north is Gyra, a thin stretch of sandy beach that forms a circle and is sprinkled with pretty windmills.
Lefkas is a beautiful, lush green island blessed with captivating Blue Flag beaches, picturesque Greek villages and gorgeous unspoilt countryside sprinkled with olive groves, lush pine and cypress forests, beautiful waterfalls, dramatic gorges and one thousand metre mountain peaks. Lefkas is connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. It is an easy drive from Preveza airport. Among the island’s most beautiful beaches are Egremni, Kathisma and the mesmerising Porto Katsiki which is loved for its golden sands and fascinating landscape. The unique beauty of Egremni’s 2.5 km beach has made it one of the most photographed landscapes on the island. Its name comes from the impressive cliffs that surround the beach. Kathisma Beach faces the Ionian archipelago, offering fine dazzling white sand, sparkling turquoise waters and a good selection of beach bars and sun loungers. The best beaches for windsurfing and kitesurfing are Agios Ioannis and Vassiliki. Nidri also boasts a very organised beach with an excellent watersports centre. Watersports offered on the organised beaches include scuba diving, water skiing, jet skiing, banana, fly-fish, big mable, tube and crazy sofa inflatables and many more. When staying on the island, visitors enjoy delicious Greek cuisine, plenty of fresh fish, gorgeous local wines and moreish ouzo.
If you drive into the mountains, you should stop at the charming village of Karya. Its central square is full of taverna tables under the shade of a huge plant tree. Visitors enjoy the local Karysaniki embroidery, once a vital part of the national dress. North-east of Karya and surrounded by towering cypress trees, mountain scenery and craggy cliffs is Lazarata. There are two notable churches, Agios Dionissis and Agios Spiridonas. Lazarata is a great place for a stroll to enjoy the neat vineyards, olive groves, citrus plantations and the red-roofed houses. You can take an organised mountain bike tour of the island, a great way to see the island from a different perspective. Some cycling tours also include the stunning neighbouring island of Meganisi.
The pretty, whitewashed church of Agios Ioannis Antzoussis dates back to the 16th century and is one of the oldest churches in Lefkas. There are some fascinating archeological, historical and cultural sites to visit on this very special island. Wine lovers enjoy Lefkas Earth, the home of some fine local wines. You can combine this stop with a fresh seafood lunch overlooking the brilliant blue waters at Sivota or Vasiliki.At
