Nestled along the Aegean coastline, lies villa Kalo Grape. Sleeping twenty guests, this villa has an in-house spa, pool and gym and is only a two-minute walk from the coast. Traditional soft stone walls create the main buildings of the villa, adding to the rustic charm of the landscape. The villa is spread out across two floors. The lower floor, where you will park outside, consists of an in-house gym, spa and two bedrooms both with a queen-sized bed, ensuite and kitchenette.The gym is modern, equipped with a treadmill, a bike and rowing machines, dumbbells and yoga mats. You can keep up your gym routine while looking at the stunning Greek coastline. With an in-house spa, it’s hard not to relax.Facilities include a jacuzzi, ice fountain, cod barrel shower, steam room, foot spas and a massage room.
Moving upstairs, you enter the main family living space, leading to a spacious patio with an infinity pool. Inside, the main family living has a comfortable lounge and a fully equipped kitchen designed to make your stay effortless. All bedrooms have individual entrances, slightly away from the centre space. Each bedroom is designed to get a good night’s sleep. The mattresses are Simmons topped with high-quality bedding and the air conditioning is silent in each room, letting you sleep in cool peace. The bedrooms are decorated thoughtfully, mixing minimalism and character, using rustic textures to create a home away from home. Hair dryers, dehumidifiers and luxury amenities are in each room, plus individual sound systems compatible with mobile phones.
Complimentary maid service is available daily, including fresh towels and linens. The villa is wheelchair friendly, making it accessible for everyone. The outside patio is the perfect place for everyone to enjoy an afternoon under the sun, and the view is pretty spectacular too. Comfortable sun lounges are scattered across the patio, some under a wooden pergola providing shade, others on the other side of the pool. The pool is long, sitting in the centre of the patio. Start your days with a couple of lengths before breakfast, maybe even early enough to swim with the sunrise.
Enjoy alfresco dining under a wooden shelter on a long dining table. Underfloor lighting sets the mood for a dining experience hard to forget. Watch the sunset as you enjoy a delicious meal, chatting about your day’s adventurers and planning the next day. Head to the local beach, a two-minute walk away, for a relaxing afternoon. Cafés and restaurants line the beach, offering a welcome rest from the sun’s rays and refreshments to cool you and your families down. The coastline around the island is speckled with beautiful beaches; take to the waters and explore all the hidden coves and sandy shores this island has to offer. Watersports fill the coastline and are a great way for the whole family to spend time together.
Take a day trip to Mikonos town, one of the best-preserved, historic towns in Greece. Here you will be surrounded by classic, white-washed walls and streets, filled with cafes, and restaurants. Defined by the strong winds, the island is often referred to as the ‘land of the wind’ and has an iconic windmill landmark. 16th-century windmills overlook the Mykonos town and the sea beyond, topped with thatched rooftops and white-washed round buildings. Nicknamed ‘little Venice’, Mykonos town looks out over the sea and is one of the most famous places to visit Mykonos. You and your loved ones will love watching the sunset over the sea from the waterfront. Watch the sparkling waves change colours as the sun disappears.
From Mykonos, you and your family can visit neighbouring islands, venturing as far as the famous Santorini, taking less than two hours via ferry. Santorini is a famous volcanic island filled with white-washed buildings, walls and staircases, making the island the flagship of the Greek island.
