Casa della Pace, is aptly named – meaning “peace”- this tranquil and secluded home occupies a prestigious spot boasting panoramic sea views and surrounding rolling countryside.
This rural idyll is surrounded by olive groves, carobs and prickly pear trees, whilst the gardens are luscious and fragrant, offering a glistening private pool framed by a chic terrace and elegantly executed outdoor pavilions providing calm shade behind the billowing curtains.
Whether it be a leisurely evening meal beneath the stars as the sun softens across the seascape, or a continental style breakfast after a refreshing morning swim, or cocktails by the pool – this home has outdoor living stylised to perfection! The tasteful pergola nestled among the flowering plants, old stone walls and terracotta pots: there is an outdoor kitchen and dining room, with spectacular views at every turn.
Guests may wish to truly indulge, and slip into the bubbling hot tub below at the end of a busy day with a glass of fizz! The beautiful brick built pizza oven and outdoor kitchen offer a sublime spot with unparalleled views to enjoy preparing a sumptuous meal. Outstanding natural beauty and varied plant life frames a luscious, green lawn. This home provides uncompromising tranquillity and verdant seclusion away from the crowds and bustle of modern living.
Nine guests can be accommodated across three bedrooms (and a double sofa bed in the living area) with three bathrooms at Casa della Pace, making this home ideal for a family or group.
The interiors are fresh, earthy and eclectic, offering a bright blend between indoor and outdoor living and a lovely rustic feel whilst offering every contemporary comfort. The understated kitchen epitomises low key luxury, offering all the modern appliances within muted tones and using the best local raw materials in their natural state!
The living space provides an informal room, abundant with character and original touches such as the cone shaped fireplace and chimney breasts and wonderful driftwood style furnishing, finished in restful, natural tones along with splashes of bright azure.
The bedrooms are seductively natural, finished in taupes and crisp whites, offering all the comfort of a small boutique hotel. The charming touches such as locally produced lace curtains, quality cotton bedlinen, thick and fluffy towels, ambient lighting and romantic allure gives these abodes their prestigious feel.

The name “Monopoli” derives from the Greek “monos polis” which means unique and singular. Valid today, this is an intriguing seafront town of whitewashed villas, dazzling promenade and historical port beginnings dating back to the seventh century.
It hides above cliff walls in its dense labyrinth of houses, churches, monasteries and crypts spread around the port and the beautiful baroque cathedral, guarded by the stunning seafront Castle of Charles V.
South of Bari, on the Adriatic coast, its neighbouring cities are: Polignano a Mare, Conversano, Castellana Grotte, Alberobello and Fasano.
Monopoli is in the “heel” of Italy, in the very heart of Puglia, with its wonderful soft light and far-reaching horizons; with the Ionian Sea on one side and the Adriatic on the other, there are miles upon miles of golden beaches. The Valle d’Itria is known as being one of the most beautiful areas of Puglia where the cities of Bari and Brindisi can easily be reached.
The capital Bari is a vibrant port and university town, whilst Lecce is the ‘Florence of the south’ – known for its baroque architecture and “Trulli” – stone huts with cone-shaped roofs that were originally homes; today they can be visited in their preserved form, and provide something of a fairy tale-esque experience for younger members of the group!
