The awe-inspiring view over Valdinievole valley from this seventeenth-century home was enough to make the previous owner abandon a comfortable life in the city and move his entire life to this hilltop home. He enjoyed nothing more than sitting out and gazing over the landscapes – and he made it to over a hundred years old. And while we can’t guarantee the life-extending properties of this former farmhouse, we’re sure you’ll find it soothing for the soul.
Your hosts extensively overhauled the home in 2021 to bring it up to date, while retaining plenty of period charm, all the way from the open-plan living room and kitchen up to the three first floor bedrooms. You’ll find a further two guestrooms in a separate annexe, that comes with its own sitting room boasting stunning panoramic picture windows that overlook the Tuscan countryside.
Life in Tuscany is meant to be lived outdoors and the alfresco areas are just as lovely as the rest of the home. Spend your days relaxing by the inviting swimming pool and dine beneath charming pergolas, the air filled with the scent of citrus trees and wood smoke – it’s a real feast for the senses.
