The villa has everything you might want for a holiday in the sun – we imagine the morning spent slowly sipping strong Italian coffee, followed by a lap or two in the pool before you retreat to the sunlounger and get lost in your favourite book. In the afternoons, make a light spread for lunch and sit in the sprawling garden taking in the aromas of magnolias, acacias and the white mulberry tree. Inside the home, you’ll find the best Italian interior tradition at play – think terracotta floors, stone walls, exposed wooden beams and warm prints throughout the house. After a well-deserved siesta in the air-conditioned rooms, gather around outside for a grill session – don’t forget to bring a bottle of crispy white from the fridge. The sunsets here are truly spectacular, and you won’t want to miss them.
