The villa’s private terrace is home to an infinity pool, looking out over the landscape, and plenty of seating spots for wining, dining and lounging the day away. The entire ground floor is an open space dedicated to fun, games and socialising. A wall of glass keeps the country views going inside which you can admire from the velvet sofa in the lounge, from the ping pong table in the play area, or while dining at the long table. Chefs will love the professional-grade kitchen which wouldn’t look out of place in a fine-dining restaurant in steel and chrome. Yet the solid-wood table is all country-chic – the perfect place to hand-roll some pasta if you fancy. Upstairs, you’ll find lavish bedrooms with wooden ceilings a nod to the building’s history. For a spot of sightseeing, the town of Volterra is a twenty-minute drive away.
