Sometimes, it’s the simple things in life: feeling the Tuscan sunshine on your skin, lounging by the pool on lazy afternoons, dining alfresco in the fresh country air and watching the sunset with a glass of Italy’s finest wine. This stone farmhouse promises plenty of rest and relaxation in the countryside – what could be better than that?
With exposed stone walls, wooden beams and gorgeous arched windows making the most of the views, this traditional villa is an open, characterful space that feels like a true home from home. It ticks all our boxes – rustic kitchen fit for whipping up pasta, cosy living spaces where you can stretch out and unwind, comfortable bedrooms with vistas of the countryside and even a billiards table for rainy days. But the garden is our favourite spot by far. Between the alfresco dining area (complete with a stone barbecue), the sparkling pool and the small amateur volleyball court, you’ll easily spend all your days out there, basking in the peace and quiet.
Location-wise, this home is nestled in the hills of Rosignano Marittimo and Lake Santa Luce. When you’re up for a day out, you’re only a few kilometres from the sandy white beaches of Rosignano Solvay, and with Livorno, Pisa and Pontedera less than an hour’s drive away, this locale is perfect for exploring Tuscany’s idyllic villages and rolling vineyards.
