With a gloriously secluded location in the Tuscan hills, this is a villa that’s made for celebrating those most special of life occasions. Thanks to the expansive grounds and no neighbours to worry about, the host is happy to let you know that you can make as much noise as you want around here.
That means you don’t have to worry about the joyful laughs of children playing in the swimming pool or the babble of chatter from the alfresco table as dinner stretches on long into the early hours. Entertaining is made refreshingly easy at the address, thanks to the onsite restaurant that can be opened and operated by a trained chef should you wish.
At the same time, the home and peaceful gardens are just as suitable for a relaxing getaway. Inside, the design is heavy on traditional design features, including terracotta tiles, parquet flooring and authentic fireplaces that are lovely to sit around after a long day of exploring the Italian countryside.
Despite the isolated position, there’s a lot to see and do only a short drive away. The little town of San Casciano Dei Bagni, famous for its thermal springs, takes just over five minutes to reach in the car, while Lake San Casciano is a half-hour jaunt.
