Beautiful Padenghe sul Garda sits on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, with glorious views and a romantic old town. It’s a wonderful holiday destination, with spectacular cycle paths and walking trails, as well as golden beaches. It’s also home to this oh-so-special villa.
Tucked away on a hilltop, this villa boasts stunning vistas of Lake Garda and its hills. From the outside, it looks like a dainty country cottage but inside you’ll find a thoroughly modern, charming home. Huge windows occupy each room, so the view becomes the backdrop of every conversation, and every quiet moment.
Outside, the swimming pool looks out to the lake, and is surrounded by greenery – it’s a remarkably peaceful spot for a swim. You might sunbathe on a lounger by the pool, or get stuck into a good book on the lawn. Perhaps in the evening you’ll prepare dinner on the barbecue and sit out on the terrace until late, watching the sun set before the stars emerge.
If you can tear yourself away from the villa, you might drive twelve minutes to the beach by the lake. An eleven-minute drive will take you into Padenghe’s old town, where you can stroll the narrow streets with a gelato. What bliss.
