This delightful Italian home can be found in the small, ancient village of Annunziata, which sits atop a pretty hill. The village boasts an incredible vantage point for the island of Capri and the Gulf of Naples – a view shared by this wonderful holiday home.
This home sits in a peaceful spot just 2.5 kilometres from Massa Lubrense and 10 kilometres from Sorrento – it’s a wonderful base from which to explore this most striking part of Italy. The beach at Marina del Cantone is a short drive away, so sun-worshippers will be happy. You can stroll into the village to dine in the restaurant and live like a local if you prefer to stay closer to home. And there are plenty of reasons to do precisely that.
The villa is traditional and elegant, with antique furniture dotted around. We love the desk that sits in front of a window, with the most beautiful sea views stretching out before it – creative types are sure to feel inspired here. In addition to the main villa, there’s also a guest annex, which is ideal for a couple looking for a bit more privacy.
Outside, you’ll find a wonderful swimming pool that seems to be perched on the hilltop. The views are magnificent, and can be enjoyed whether you’re swimming laps or are seated on the terrace. The pergola is a glorious spot for alfresco dining. There’s something almost magical about dining beneath the stars, isn’t there?
