Rent Villa Ksu Teak Pincio & Villa Borghese
Holiday Home Rental Description
We defy anybody not to be wowed by this characterful apartment in the centre of Rome. The space itself is both large and blessed with ample amounts of natural light from the tall windows, but it’s the maximalist approach to design that sets it apart.
It’s hard to pick a standout furnishing, but the rather regal dining table and the neighbouring sideboard with a fresco-style artwork are a handsome combination. Even after a couple of days at this home, we’re sure that you’ll be discovering new curios that had gone unnoticed up until that point.
If this has given you the impression that the interior harks back to yesteryear, that’s not the case. As well as the Byron-quoting neon artwork on the wall, the sleek surfaces in the kitchen are a triumph, as is the contemporary fireplace. The glass and iron entrance to the apartment’s huge private terrace is similarly chic and it opens up to a smartly tiled space in which you can sit out and look out over the Rome skyline.
In the local area, you’re well served for interesting attractions, with the Baths of Diocletian just seven minutes’ walk away and the gallery halls in the Barberini Palace taking around eighteen. The sprawling greenery of Villa Borghese is only twenty minutes away on foot, too.
