Nestled just outside of Licata, this modern villa is both private and peaceful. Inside, it’s all glossy finishes and contemporary touches – crisp white walls, rainfall showers and expansive glass windows are just a few of the features. The sleek kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up dinner, the two living spaces have plenty of room to lounge and the bedrooms are as comfortable as they are stylish. But the real draw here is the sunny garden, pretty balcony and sunkissed terraces. As well as the saltwater pool – which is ideal for cooling off on hot days – there’s a built-in barbecue, covered dining area and a sumptuous outdoor sofa where you can sip cocktails and watch the sunset. Sounds like heaven, right?
You won’t have to travel far to reach the beach, either, as Marianello’s sandy shores are just a two-minute walk away. There are also a few eateries within walking distance, but most of the action is Licita, a five-minute drive away. Head there for a bevvy of restaurants and shops to tickle your fancy, as well as strolls along the coast. But if you feel up for an adventure, it’s a half-an-hour drive to the Valley of the Temples, perfect for a day trip.
