Nestled in a beautiful nature park, this villa is surrounded by breathtaking views which you can admire in peace and quiet. Sicily’s beautiful coastline is only a short drive away and magnificent Palermo is in easy reach for a day trip.
The contemporary home is made up of a stunning villa and a separate annex – ideal for large parties who want the space to spread out. With its own infinity pool and various terraces, this casa is the perfect place to make memories with family or friends.
This white-washed home perfectly fits in with its picturesque surroundings. Inside, the furnishings are modern and stylish, while still feeling true to Sicilian traditions. Large windows flood the home with light while framing the greenery outside, making the landscape a huge part of each room. A sense of character is maintained throughout with wrought-iron beds, pretty tiles, exposed stonework and terracotta floors.
The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you need to cook up a delicious meal that you can enjoy on the terrace; you can sit at the breakfast bar with a glass of Nero d’Avola whilst before cooking up a feast. If you prefer eating out, there are plenty of restaurants in close proximity that serve excellent Sicilian cuisine.
Outside, each area is designed for visitors to admire the mountainous landscape in comfort. Spend the morning swimming in the infinity pool before eating breakfast al fresco with family and friends on the outdoor dining area, taking in the surroundings.
When you’re not relaxing at the villa, you can explore the Madonie Nature Park on foot taking you to various amazing viewpoints or drive to the beautiful sandy beaches around charming Cefalù, just 20 minutes away. Visit the centre of the island in Enna or head north-west to experience the enchanting city of Palermo with its bustling markets, incredible architecture and wonderful ambience.Tucked away in Madonie Regional Natural Park, this villa is surrounded by a stunning landscape. Some of Siciliy’s tallest mountains are found in this region, which you can explore by some amazing hiking. As a nature reserve, various wildlife and foliage make this area their home, so keep an eye out when exploring! You’ll also find quaint little villages, castles and ancient churches dotted amongst the incredible landscapes.
Beach lovers can head to the nearby coast (3km), where you can watch the waves crash against each other while enjoying a picnic on the shore. There are various restaurants nearby, where you can indulge in some local delicacies and delicious local wine. If you prefer eating in, you can pick up some supplies from the supermarket that sells fresh fruit, vegetables and necessities.
For a great day out, visit Cefalu a charming seaside town that’s full of history. Its most popular site is its cathedral, a fortress with stunning Byzantine mosaics and large twin towers dating back to the 12th century. You can discover more about the city’s vibrant past at Mandralisca Museum, which displays fascinating architecture, paintings and ancient objects. When you’re not learning about the city’s history, you can head to its beautiful beaches and soak up the warm sunshine.
Drive around an hour (or take the train from a local coastal station) to reach Sicily’s capital, Palermo, a city rich in Italian culture. Live music, numerous restaurants and bustling nightlife attracts tourists from all over the world. You can buy fresh produce from the different markets dotted around. The street markets in central Ballarò and Vucciria are particularly popular. There are loads of historical sites to see, such as: the royal tombs in Palermo Cathedral, the Byzantine mosaics in Cappella Palatina and the 9th century royal palace. Whether you are shopping, site-seeing or dancing the night away, this city is great to visit day or night.
Following the winding roads inland, Enna is another fascinating town to discover, high on a hilltop with so many historic highlights and a charming ambience as you explore the characterful lanes and admire the amazing views.
