You’ll see what we mean when you walk in through the front door and into the atrium with its spiral staircase and soaring ceiling. Onwards from there, there are two living rooms, each with luxurious furnishings and some eye-catching artwork — our favourite being the colourful reinterpretation of American Gothic.
Continue this tour and you’ll encounter a huge kitchen with a handblown glass countertop, a ten-seater cinema, exercise room and bedrooms that wouldn’t look out of place in some of the city’s best hotels.
This being LA, you’ll want to spend a fair amount of time outside too and that’s perfectly possible here thanks to the infinity swimming pool and the sunken fire pit built into the side.
If the home’s art collection inspires you to go gallery-hopping, The Getty takes ten minutes to reach in the car and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art about twenty-five. Alternatively, the designer boutiques and renowned restaurants of Beverly Hills are a quarter of an hour’s drive away.
