We’ll start our tour with the open-layout living space, with its numerous sliding doors coming to a point that looks for all the world like the bow of a boat pointing towards DTLA in the distance. A curved sofa provides the perfect indoor spot for a gathering, or step out to one side to the terrace, where you’ll find comfy sofas and heat lamps – so you can stay out until dark admiring the city lights. Back inside, there’s a high-end kitchen with everything you could need and a dining table for up to ten. And you won’t have to give up your fitness routine during your stay here, thanks to the home gym set just off the kitchen.
Head down the floating staircase and you’ll find a second sitting room, with casual seating and doors opening to the pool terrace. Out here you’re free to swim, relax in the hot tub and sunbathe, all the while feeling as though you’re floating above the landscape.
Elsewhere, five comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of space for a large group and the master suite has such knockout views you may not want to leave your room at all. But if anything could lure you out, it’s the fact that LA is on your doorstep. With a three-mile drive to the bright lights of Hollywood Boulevard and around seven to Rodeo Drive, the entertainment options nearby are limitless.
