Villa Sofije Montenegro
Holiday Home Rental Description
Welcome to Villa Sofije, a beautifully whimsical property ideal for eight guests but able to house ten. With four bedrooms, three bedrooms and free private parking, we’d like to tell you more about this spellbinding property in Budva, Montenegro.
Planted amongst truly picturesque surroundings, you can enjoy the vast beauty of the gardens, outdoor pool, and ocean views. With a shared lounge, there are ample opportunities to socialise. Your precise location is Sveti Stefan, close to Crvena Glavica Beach and Drobni Pijesak Beach, which is only a little further.
A self-catered villa, you can indulge your independence with a private pool, lush gardens, barbeque and grilling facilities and free Wi-Fi throughout, all whilst living in a romantic and serene setting. Thinking about the little things? Bed linen, towels, and flat-screen television with satellite channels are all available, as is a lovely dining area and fully equipped kitchen where you can cook up a storm. You can also enjoy the patio and enjoy oversight of the pool.
A four-star accommodation, there’s a little more than meets the eye to this property. You can make use of the revitalising hot tub, and there’s a playground for young children to keep them occupied whilst you read a book or soak in the tub nearby. You can also use the car rental service provided by Luxury Villa Crystal Blue should you wish to explore Montenegro, which we’d wholly recommend.
Simple, structured elegance is a great way to describe the property, which gives a slightly regal appearance. The entrance is magical, with a large, crooked, slightly awe-inspiring tree guarding the property. With muted colours, it’s designed to blend, chameleon-like, into the gorgeous backdrop. Sun loungers bound your pool and hot tub with blissful views of that deep blue sea beyond and the hum of green nature. Outdoors is a beautiful way to welcome in the sunrise and sunset whilst enjoying breakfast, meditation, or some quiet time with a coffee outdoors at the table. Even when inside, the outdoors has a way of finding you. Airy and light, the sun and the views will astonish you at every turn.
The bedrooms look gold-gilded and will undoubtedly make you feel aristocratic. No need to close the curtains, but if you prefer to, parting them in the morning will flaunt your gorgeous terrace and beckoning blue of the sea and the sky.
Glamorous, gorgeous, but a home no doubt, we know you’ll love your stay at Sofijie whether with family or friends.
Montenegro is a little country with a lot to say. It’s a beguiling area with a contrasting and unusual landscape. Yes, you’ll find pristine beaches and brilliant bold sea, cosy coves and Greek tavernas, but you’ll also be able to take in the hearty mountainous regions and jagged wilderness that slightly defies modernity. A friendly culture, the locals will make you feel right at home with their kindness and hospitality. This is a culture of gentleness, of slow speed, of drinking up and savouring life. Embrace the gift that is Montenegro.
Your little hideaway is on Sveti Stefan, which is a small islet and resort, not far from Budva. It is very much like exploring an idyllic childhood paradise. A fantastical place, it has to be seen to be believed. You’re connected to the mainland by a slim string of golden beach and there is much to do nearby, including a visit to Milocer Park.
You can take a tour to explore some of Montenegrin’s cultural gems, including Cetinje and Njegusi as well as the picture-perfect Bay of Kotor.
The coast is a great place to spend time, but if you move in-land, you’ll also find there’s much to explore. Despite its small size, Montenegro is a geographically diverse land, and you can pick and choose what you’d like to see of it. It’s history of military invasion and religion mean that it houses a large number of monasteries which are well worth a visit. The famous Skadar Lake is a wonderful sight.
Montenegro is gaining in popularity, but there are still many chances to find quiet and peace. Food is a famous feature and there are a huge number of restaurants to enjoy, including Restora Rivijera, Jadran, Zeleni Gaj, Hajde for any vegetarians and Resto Bar Taraca for vegan options.
Further afield, you may wish to explore Budva with its many beaches, old town, and Roman-era ruins. Sveti Nikola island is a gorgeous sight, and the Budva Citadel is a great trip. There are lots of picturesque things to see, including the Budva dancing girl.
With a car to hand, you can drive to the mountainous region of Durmitor, visit the Ostrog Monastery, our lady of the rocks, a charming artificial island with a church. There are so many beautiful things to see and do here, all you need to do is decide what you want to do and go for it.
