There’s also a garden and patio, so you can sip a cool drink in the sunshine while the kids play on the lawn. And, for the ultimate relaxation, there’s even a sauna where you can sweat out your stresses.
A ten-minute walk will bring you down to the shoreline of De Koog Beach, where you can stroll along the sand or even take a dip in the sea on warm days. Nature lovers will be in heaven, as the Ecomare aquarium is a ten-minute drive away, as is Texel’s zoo, and there are plenty of spots for birdwatching. And, you can’t beat exploring by bike – there is over 140km of cycle paths guiding you through this unique island.
