It’s time to leave your cares behind with a well-earned break at Casa Salicos. From the moment you arrive, you’re sure to be wowed by the timeless elegance of this quintessentially Portuguese property. Situated in a quiet residential area just a short hop away from local amenities and services, Casa Salicos is the perfect place to rest and recuperate.
On arrival, you’re sure to notice the size of the villa. This impressive three-bedroom property has a large driveway, protected by a security gate access, which can fit multiple vehicles. When entering the villa, the minimalistic decor lets you relax and settle with ease. A large cosy living room is decorated in clean whites with wooden accents, boasting two sofas and a TV with a DVD player for family entertainment.
On the main level, you have a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare delicious homemade meals for your nearest and dearest during your stay. Once you’ve made your food, you can choose between two dining areas – one in its own room next to the kitchen and the second located out on the covered terrace. For outdoor dining, Casa Salicos also has a barbecue area which you’re free to use as you wish.
For sleeping, you have your choice of three comfortable, simply decorated bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite bathroom. Two rooms feature two single beds, which can be pushed together to form a double if you wish, and the third bedroom features a double bed and its own private terrace.
On the lower level, you’ll find your private swimming pool and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols to help shade you from the sun. Besides the swimming pool are an outdoor shower and a small seating area.
Staying at Casa Salicos includes the services of a housekeeper who will visit the property five days a week to support with cleaning.Casa Salicos is not just a great place to stay based on its amenities; its location is pretty great too. The villa itself is located in a small residential neighbourhood just a short drive away from nearby beaches and the Carvoeiro town centre. Within walking distance, you’ll be able to find a supermarket for all your grocery needs and a few local cafes.
Getting to Casa Salicos is easy, with excellent road links making it an ideal addition to a larger trip. Or, if you’re arriving just for a stay in Carvoeiro, the journey from Faro Airport to Casa Salicos is about 45 minutes by car.
Casa Salicos is especially popular with golf lovers as it’s just a five-minute walk away from the popular Vale de Milho Golf, a beautifully designed and maintained nine-hole par-three course that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
You’ll be spoiled for choice with two stunning Blue Flag beaches just a stone’s throw away from the villa. Praia do Vale de Centeanes is about a five-minute drive away, whereas Praia de Carvoeiro is slightly further away at ten minutes. Of the two, Praia do Vale de Centeanes is the quieter with nothing but cliffs surrounding it, whereas Praia de Carvoeiro is located on the edge of Carvoeiro’s town centre. In Carvoeiro town, you’ll be able to visit shops, bars and restaurants popular with both locals and holidaymakers alike.
While both areas are within walking distance, the area is relatively steep and hilly, so we don’t recommend it, especially if you’re travelling with small children or people with limited mobility.
For day trips, Albufeira is just 30 minutes away by car to the west, and Portimao is 20 minutes away to the east.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
