Take a break and make Casa Torga your home for a while during your next Algarve escape. Nestled on a quiet residential estate on the outskirts of Carvoeiro, Casa Torga is a cosy traditional villa with plenty to offer.
When you arrive, Casa Torga is accessed by a security gate leading to a private driveway where you can safely store your vehicles during your stay. Casa Torga’s plot is kept vibrant with bright leafy plants and trees surrounding it.Inside, traditional Portuguese decor awaits giving the property a true ‘home away from home’ feel. On the ground floor, your living room can comfortably seat up to six guests with plush sofas set around a TV set. Large patio doors open up onto the terrace, providing views of the swimming pool and gardens. A few steps up from the living room is a cosy dining area leading on to a well-kitchen that has everything you need to whip up delicious meals during your stay.
Additional dining facilities are located outside on the terrace with a shaded outdoor dining table and a traditional barbecue.
For your comfort, three simply decorated, good-sized bedrooms are located across the villa’s two floors. One bedroom is located on the ground floor, containing two single-bed bunk beds, its own private en-suite bathroom and direct access to the terrace through a patio door. Kids particularly love this room as they get to turn their holiday into a sleepover and can go right from their room to the swimming pool via the patio.Upstairs are two additional rooms with a double bed and its own private en-suite bathroom.
Outside, your private swimming pool is yours to enjoy throughout your visit with comfortable sun loungers also available. If you wish to shower off before and after your swims, a small outdoor shower is located on the terrace besides the barbecue area.Casa Torga has a great location for holidaymakers who appreciate the peace and quiet of a private villa while also enjoying the fun of being close to town. While Casa Torga sits on a quiet residential estate it’s also just a short walk away from the heart of Vale Centeanes, where you’ll be able to visit local shops, bars and restaurants as well as the beach. You’re also just 5 minutes away from the popular Vale de Milho Golf, a beautiful nine-hole course overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Getting around on foot from Casa Torga is possible, but we do recommend renting a car during your stay as the area can become quite steep in places and may not always be suitable for guests.
There are several lovely beaches nearby, particularly Praia do Vale de Centeanes and Praia de Benagil, both of which are easily accessible and just a five-minute drive away from the villa. The historic city of Portimao is also just a stone’s throw away, being a 20-minute drive from Casa Torga.
To start your holiday, Casa Torga is well-served by local and national road links, making it an easy addition to a wider holiday around Portugal or as a stand-alone visit.
