Villa Jacinda is situated in the resort of Quinta da Balaia, just a short car journey from the famous town of Albufeira in the heart of the stunning Algarve coast. This spacious villa is within walking distance of clean, sandy family-friendly beaches and excellent facilities, including local restaurants, historic towns, lively markets and exciting activities. It is the perfect holiday location for a family or group of friends.
The villa can comfortably accommodate up to ten guests across five bedrooms set out across one level. The entertaining space is bright with simple furnishings and comprises of a fully-equipped fitted kitchen which comes complete with all the necessary tools a budding chef could require! There is also a dining and living room with access to the pretty garden and pool area.
Also on this level are the five bedrooms, the first, a king-size master bedroom, comes complete with en-suite bathroom. There are three twin rooms, one of which boasts its en-suite shower room. The remaining bedroom is a double. The three rooms without en-suites make use of two family bathrooms.
The outside space at Villa Jacinda is genuinely wonderful; there is room for everyone to relax, play or sunbathe in the expansive garden. The large private pool is the perfect place to spend an afternoon soaking up the sunshine while the terrace dining area is the ideal spot for those who wish to dine al fresco.
There is something for everyone in the surrounding area as the villa is just minutes from several clean, sandy, family-friendly beaches, spectacular walks along the sandstone cliffs and the Balaia Golf course which is 500m away. For the more adventurous, there are easily accessible water sports, including diving and windsurfing. Just half an hour’s drive away, kids will love a trip out to the marina or the Zoomarine water park which offers animal shows, including dolphins and birds of prey, a 4D cinema, aquarium, rides and plenty of places to eat. Villa Jacinda is located in Quinta da Balaia, between Olhos de Agua and Albufeira on the central Algarve. Famed for its friendly people, stunning beaches, fresh seafood and historic towns, this region offers both fun and tranquillity.
Olhos de Agua is an easy-going fishing village where you’ll see fishers hauling in their catch ready to be barbecued later that night. The charming main street, with many bars and restaurants, runs down the hill to the waterfront where there is a lovely little beach.
Buzzing Albufeira is just a ten-minute car journey away. Once a small fishing port, it is now a popular destination for its charming whitewashed houses, Moorish architecture, the ruins of the fortress and a high cliff overlooking the beach. Friendly weekly markets are selling fresh fish, meat, bread, fruit and vegetables as well as local crafts. With lively bars and cafes, it has become a place to while away the evenings.
For children, apart from the nearby sandy beaches with calm water, there is a marina and Zoomarine water park in Albufeira, with animal shows, including dolphins and birds of prey, a 4D cinema, an aquarium, rides and plenty of places to eat.
The Algarve area is known for its fresh, local seafood. Choose from traditional dishes such as the famous Algarvan Cataplana and delicious grilled sardines or taste delicacies such as tuna, sea bream, monkfish or squid.
