The sprawling outside grounds of Villa Enej cover 4,300 square metres and offer a wide variety of fantastic features and facilities for guests to enjoy. Begin each day with a refreshing dip in the villa’s private pool, where the sounds of the natural world around you will instill a sense of peace and tranquility. The pool is located on a lovely stone terrace, the perfect place to relax with a book on a sun lounger during warmer months. A few steps away, the villa’s beautiful contemporary wellness centre is located on elevated decking, featuring a relaxing sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi where up to six guests can unwind anytime. This makes for an excellent place to gather under the stars at night.
For those who wish to enjoy an active afternoon in the fresh air, the garden also features an area where games such as volleyball, badminton or football can be played. There is a small playground for children and a shady gazebo with garden furniture. The charming pool house kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare a delicious meal using the local produce you have discovered, which can be enjoyed at the casual outdoor dining table.
There is a rustic log cabin with a brick fireplace and grill located on a separate plot of land, next to a pretty vegetable and herb garden. Here, guests are encouraged to help themselves to any seasonal produce. A spacious games room with billiards and table football is also available for guests to enjoy.

Another compact bedroom featuring twin beds beneath a skylight is ideal for kids, while the villa also offers a cosy single room. Two modern bathrooms include walk-in showers, with one spacious bathroom also featuring a large bathtub and a massage table.

Slovenia’s rich food culture places emphasis on seasonal, local produce, meaning that many dishes are prepared using organic ingredients grown and produced nearby. Premier local wines come from the Podravje and Posavje wine-growing regions, while visitors can also sample traditional beer made from Slovenian hops.
Nearby Jeruzalem is also famous for its wine cellars and excellent cuisine, but there is plenty more on offer here. The River Drava is a nature-lover’s paradise, with walking trails, cycling routes, warm bathing spots and plenty of places to stop for a scenic picnic along the way. From here, you may wish to make your way to the charming architecture of Ptuj, where an imposing castle overlooks the town.
Dating back to the eleventh century, Grad Castle is Slovenia’s largest Baroque castle, located a forty-minute drive away from the villa in the beautiful Goričko Hills. For history lovers, the castle features a museum with various fascinating exhibitions and picturesque gardens where you can wander whilst enjoying the sunshine. Drive for only five minutes from here to reach the undulating hills and dramatic sunsets of Goričko Landscape Park.
For a day of complete relaxation, visit any of the wonderful thermal spas nearby. Pomurje is known by Slovenians as a region of restorative waters.
