Make your way to Sistiana Bay, where you can spend the day swimming on the beach of Castelreggio, overlooked by the impressive Duino Cliffs. The beach is ideal for families, with activities such as boat tours available, as well as plenty of pizzerias and cafes, in case you decide to stay and watch the sun go down over the sparkling blue water.
Closer to home, the emerald-green river of Soča Valley is a majestic sight. Here, there are activities such as kayaking, rafting and canyoning to keep adventure seekers happy. There are also excellent golf courses in close proximity to the villa, each with unforgettable views. The medieval village of Šmartno is only seven minutes from Vipolže by car. This entire walled village, with its charming cobblestone pathways and beautiful architecture, has been declared a cultural heritage monument.
