Here you’ll find everything you could need for a short break, as well as finding yourself close to the myriad attractions, cultural and historical offerings, not to mention a host of happening tapas bars and that unmissable Madrid nightlife. Spend an afternoon perusing some of the nearby museums (among our favourites are the Sorolla Museum and the Geominero Museum), diving into chic local boutiques to snag yourself some effortlessly cool Spanish fashion, or simply hop from cafe to cafe, sampling light bites as the mood takes you. Then it’s back to the apartment to freshen up and sip an evening vino before either calling it a night or joining the city’s night owls and getting amongst the exuberant after-dark offerings. Arriba!
