They say a picture speaks a thousand words, and that’s certainly the case with this magnificent seafront estate – because what else can we say about this beautiful property that these images don’t convey
Perhaps the only thing that can’t come across through the imagery is the magical, almost otherworldly feeling that one gets the moment you step onto the 1.2-hectare plot that’s filled with aromatic 1000-year-old olive trees, mature cedar, and pine trees. You need just look out over those truly spellbinding sea views to see (and feel) what we mean.
Imagine waking in one of the beautifully appointed bedrooms in either the main house or the equally chic guest pavillion. Then stepping out onto the stones of the wraparound terrace that are already being gently warmed by the Catalonian sun for that welcome first sip of freshly brewed coffee. The perfect accompaniment to a morning brew? Never mind a croissant, for us, it has to be gazing out over the expansive vista of the Mediterranean Sea. It certainly beats the day-to-day morning routine, that’s for sure.
This home is made for outdoor living (though the inside is so beautiful, it might be hard to tear yourself away from it!). Dive into the brilliant azure of your private swimming pool, prepare delicious Spanish specialties in the outdoor kitchen, soak in the hot tub, or feel at one in the wellness area, all under the inimitable light of the Southern European summer sunlight. Talk about a magical holiday feeling…
As the day draws to a close and the air takes on a benignant balmy quality, you can choose between showering in one of the luxurious bathrooms and slipping into some elegant evening attire for dinner – either on the terrace with that view as your backdrop, or in the delightful, traditionally Spanish town of Begur. Or, for something a little more low-key, why not head down to the wine cellar to select a bottle, then take it to the dedicated home cinema to enjoy alongside your other favourite movie-time snacks in the company of your nearest and dearest – pass the popcorn!
It’s all about options here, because if you don’t fancy going out, you can always bring the party home, curating your own idea of an ideal evening in the gorgeous bar area – being sure to make good use of the high-spec sound system to fiesta in true Spanish style. Arriba!
