Located close to the point where Marbella crosses over into Andalusia’s mountainous interior, this vast villa is quite simply extraordinary and there’s luxury to be found in every corner.
Step behind the front door and you’re greeted by a beautiful, double-height hallway filled with artwork and overlooked by an enormous chandelier. Head off through any of the doorways in this space and you’ll come across equally lavish lounges with marble floors, a billiards room, and a grand dining room.
Head upstairs and the thrills continue. There’ll be no squabbling over the bedrooms as all are generously sized and accompanied by super-sleek bathrooms, including one with a sauna and another with a Jacuzzi tub. Many of them also have direct access to the outside space too, whether in the shape of a balcony or ground-level terraces. When the sun’s at its highest, there are plenty of alfresco seating areas on which to relax, as well as a swimming pool into which to jump and cool off.
We don’t blame you if you want to spend as many hours as humanly possible at the address, but there’s a good selection of attractions nearby, too. The nearest sandy beach – Nagüeles – is only 3km away and Marbella’s charming old town is 5km away. Further afield, you can take your pick from golf courses, waterparks and hiking routes.
