Ca Coral Spain
Holiday Home Rental Description
This modern two-floor, four-bedroom villa is located just a short walk from the seafront of the Spanish Costa Blanca and has a private swimming pool plus stunning views of the waterfront.
As soon as you approach the white-washed walls of this stunning Spanish villa, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived home. Bougainvillaea sprawls along the property, adding dashes of colour and fragrance to the immaculate grounds. The minimalist design of whites, creams and terracotta sit against the bright blue sky, making Ca Coral a Mediterranean oasis where guests can truly sit back and relax in style.
The Mediterranean charm continues inside the house, which boasts wooden beams and curved corners and is filled with natural light. Crisps of white walls and a stone floor run through the property giving an earthy feel. Treading across the stone floor into the living room, guests will feel like they are truly on holiday as the Spanish breeze runs through the house.
Ca Coral comfortably sleeps up to eight guests, offering spacious king-size beds in each of the four bedrooms, with one of them including an en-suite shower. The rooms have been tastefully decorated to reflect the elements of the surrounding nature, utilising natural fabrics and furnishings.
The lush garden is always a hit with guests, and the pool is undoubtedly a highlight of the property. Sun worshippers will be in their element on the loungers, and it’s easy to see why guests spend hours here topping up their tans. You’ll be surrounded by Spanish flora, and the villa is roughly a 20-minute walk to the nearest beach, so your time outdoors is guaranteed to be peaceful and rejuvenating. If you’re in the mood to cook outdoors, then the barbecue is at your disposal, plus a large outdoor kitchen and dining area. The space is perfect for some outdoor entertaining and was built with those long summer evenings in mind.Situated on the Southeastern coast of Spain, Cap de la Nau (or Cape of the Ship) gets the first of the morning sun thanks to its east-facing position. It is one of many in the Land of the Capes, which spans the Valencian coast, and the region is cherished for its hidden coves and unbeatable coastal views.
The region prides itself on its natural beauty and environmental protection. There is restricted access to many of the caves by motorboat; instead, local businesses offer the more sustainable option of kayaking (dependent on weather and fitness levels). The beaches of La Granadella and Portixol hire out kayaks, and a round trip takes around three hours. Portixol bay sits to the north of Cap de la Nau within a beautiful cove with spectacular views of Portixol island opposite. The bay is renowned for its unspoiled beaches and authentic Spanish atmosphere with great restaurants and bars. In calm weather, you can swim from the bay to the island and then enjoy a fresh seafood dinner on your return. The clear waters around Cap de la Nau make for some of the most spectacular beaches around Alicante’s Costa Blanca, and it’s no surprise the spot is so popular with scuba divers. The sheltered caves create warm and calm waters, making it a rich habitat for flora and fauna.
Above the water is the Cap de la Nau lighthouse. Sat at over one hundred and twenty metres above sea level, the lighthouse is accessible by a clifftop walk and has two restaurants close by where you can enjoy wine and a Spanish dish. It’s one of several viewpoints which dot the coast of the region, and visitors can meander the ‘viewpoints trail’ along the cliff edges that border Cap de la Nau. Each of the fifteen points has stunning panoramic views, and on a clear day, you can see the island of Ibiza, which is about 90km away.
A highlight of Cap de la Nau is the old town of Javea. Take a walk around the church of San Bartoleme in the town centre, which is the epitome of gothic architecture. The church dates back to the 15th century and sits next to the indoor market, which sells fresh fish, meat and vegetables daily. There is plenty of things to see and do in Javea, from shops and restaurants to beaches and attractions.
