Villa Vida Bella Spain
Rental Description
Life is certainly beautiful in this stunning Spanish villa. The two-storey cliffside property boasts total privacy and an outdoor infinity pool with unrivalled views of the deep blue Mediterranean sea.
The owner has taken great care to build into the exquisite natural beauty surrounding the area, and touches of the elements can be found in its chic design. The large windows give a fresh and airy atmosphere with stone, marble and wood decorating the interior. Tiled flooring in natural stone colours runs throughout the house, and guests can bask in the hours of sunlight streaming into the rooms.
Each bedroom is decorated in hues of white and cream with touches of solid timber found in the furniture and the overhead beams. The main bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows with a private terrace overlooking the ocean. With four bedrooms and six bathrooms, privacy is no issue here.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to sea and is the perfect place to enjoy your meals. Prepare your locally bought market produce at the marble-esque cooking island in the fully-equipped kitchen, then head out to eat on the verandah, where you’ll be surrounded by views of the ocean.
The outside area is colourfully decorated with deep blue tiles and white stone and is peppered with native flora which grows in the grounds. Take a dip in the infinity pool, then rinse off under the rain shower before watching the sky change colours on the terrace as the sun goes down.
Air conditioning (as well as heating) is available throughout the villa, but with the soft Spanish breeze coming through the windows and the unique microclimate, you’re sure to be living in full comfort.
The property has a private garage and outdoor security lighting, plus a safety lock for your peace of mind.Situated on the Iberian Peninsula, Cap de la Nau (or Cape of the Ship) gets the first of the morning sun thanks to its east facing position. It is one of many in the Land of the Capes, which spans the Valencian coast, and the region is cherished for its hidden coves and unbeatable coastal views.
The region prides itself on its natural beauty and environmental protection. There is restricted access to many of the caves by motorboat; instead, local businesses offer the more sustainable option of kayaking (dependent on weather and fitness levels). The nearby beaches of La Granadella and Portixol hire out kayaks, and a round trip takes around three hours. Portixol bay sits to the north of Cap de la Nau within a beautiful cove with spectacular views of Portixol island opposite. The bay is renowned for its unspoiled beaches and authentic Spanish atmosphere with great restaurants and bars. In calm weather, you can swim from the bay to the island and then enjoy a fresh seafood dinner on your return. The clear waters around Cap de la Nau make for some of the most spectacular beaches around Alicante’s Costa Blanca, and it’s no surprise the spot is so popular with scuba divers. The sheltered caves create warm and calm waters, making them a rich habitat for flora and fauna.
Above the water is the Cap de la Nau lighthouse. Sat at over one hundred and twenty metres above sea level, the lighthouse is accessible by a clifftop walk and has two restaurants close by where you can enjoy wine and a Spanish dish. It’s one of several viewpoints which dot the coast of the region, and visitors can meander the ‘viewpoints trail’ along the cliff edges that border Cap de la Nau. Each of the fifteen points has stunning panoramic views, and on a clear day, you can see the island of Ibiza, which is about 90km away.
A fifteen-minute drive north is the old town of Jávea. Take a walk around the church of San Bartolemé in the town centre, which is the epitome of gothic architecture. The church dates back to the 15th century and sits next to the indoor market, which sells fresh fish, meat and vegetables daily. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
