A beautifully designed cosy and very well-equipped 2-bedroom property is the perfect hideaway for a couple, or small group, seeking a comfortable and relaxing holiday base. Tastefully chosen furnishings with white and soft pastel tones create a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere.
This open plan country home is located just on the outskirts of the town of Pollensa and just a few minutes’ drives from the beautiful beaches of the north. Casa Petit Sorti is located within walking distance to Pollensa, which is accessed via the main road, and several main supermarkets are in the proximity.
Character features include sloping beamed ceilings, wood burner, country-style furnishings and a brick BBQ on the terrace. With an open-plan design, the living room with comfortable sofas, Wifi, TV & DVD, sits to one side, a pretty fully equipped kitchen/diner to the other. Also, on the ground floor are two bedrooms, 1 x double and 1 x twin bedroom and adjacent a shared bathroom with shower.
Sliding doors from the kitchen lead out to the covered terrace with table and chairs which are perfect for al fresco dining. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and have a neutral colour scheme which just adds to the chilled Mediterranean look.
Surrounded by lush mature foliage, in addition to the well-kept lawn, there is a small private swimming pool, surrounded by wood decking and sun loungers, which is perfect for taking a dip to cool off. The craggy peaks of the Sierra Tramuntana foothills dominate the near distance. Sunset sees innumerable changes of colour over the mountain rockface; this is a perfect property to sit back and enjoy.
The indoor and outdoor living are perfectly connected at Casa Petit Sorti with BBQ facilities adjacent to the terrace, a choice of poolside space either wooden decking or lawn. Pollensa is an enchanting Mallorcan town packed with ancient blonde stone architecture, Pollenca doesn’t feel like many of the other towns which have surrendered to tourism.
Although tourists have long been attracted here, Pollensa has learned to accept and adapt to tourism without losing its soul. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning.
Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but be warned that to get to the top; you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views definitely do not disappoint from the top.
Puerto Pollensa, just 650 km to the outskirts, offers wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, make Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many. With hotels on the seafront that still retain an old-fashioned air, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960s developments.
Today the town attracts mainly British and Madrileño families looking for something more than the hustle and bustle of the south coast resorts. With wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, makes Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many.
Cala Sant Vincente just 5.2 km away is a small resort town in north-eastern Majorca, Spain. It consists of three small beaches, plus a few bars and restaurants catering to tourists.
