Villa Aranjassa Spain

Luxury Villas
| 6 Bedrooms|

Rental Description

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, on the outskirts of Palma in Mallorca, sits this six-bedroom, ultra-sleek villa. Located on a private estate, the villa has plenty of traditional charm, with the exterior featuring Mallorcan stone and terracotta tiles.
Inside is inviting and thoroughly modern, with whitewashed walls and swathes of natural light, making the living areas wonderfully serene. The open-plan lounge on the ground floor is an attractive space with white designer furniture, a huge cream sofa, and sliding glass doors overlooking the terrace, garden and pool. During the day, unwind with a film on the satellite TV or enjoy a sociable meal at the stylish dining table that seats eight people. Additional comforts include a fireplace and air-conditioning so you can maintain an ambient temperature whatever the weather. Cool wood-laminate flooring sweeps from the living area into the sleek kitchen. Full of shiny white surfaces and state-of-the-art appliances, the chic breakfast table is the perfect spot for morning coffee and croissants and seats twelve people. Alternatively, slide open the glass doors and enjoy an alfresco brunch on the terrace.
Three bedrooms with double beds and en suite bathrooms are also located on this floor. The bedrooms are wonderfully soothing with their neutral tones, whitest linen and direct access to the glorious terrace and garden. From the ground floor, stairs lead up to the first floor, where you’ll find the remaining light-filled bedrooms. The bedrooms, all featuring double beds, are large and comfortable with wall-mounted TVs and shiny en suite bathrooms. The master bedroom even has a Jacuzzi-style tub in the bedroom so you can enjoy a soak while gazing at the endless blue sky. There’s an additional lounge on this floor dotted with white designer furniture, but the real bonus is the sunny terrace. Open the glass doors, step outside and soak up the views of the far-reaching mountains. While inside is all style and comfort, there is plenty to impress outside too.
Top up your tan on a lounger, or escape the heat with a splash in the swimming pool. You can also try your hand at table tennis or simply relax in the shady seating area with something cool to drink. Come evening, congregate on the patio, then light up the barbeque and dine under the stars. This delightful place is wonderfully soothing and perfect for restoring energy. Despite its rural location, Playa de Palma, with its sandy beach, cafés and restaurants, is only 10km away, while Palma is 20 minutes drive from the villa.  Villa Aranjassa is located in the rural countryside, close to the village S’Aranjassa in the southeast of Mallorca. It’s a quiet area, surrounded by fields and the Serra de Tramuntana, and is the perfect spot for those seeking peace and tranquillity. There’s an excellent supermarket just 7 minutes drive away and a selection of good traditional restaurants 10 minutes drive away in S’Aranjassa. The villa is well-placed for outdoor activities, with plenty of walking and hiking trails nearby. One of the most popular hikes is to Randa Mountain. It’s a 20-minute drive to Randa village and the start of the two-and-a-half-hour trail. Take your time and soak up the beautiful landscape, ancient monasteries, caves and tunnels. At the top of the mountain, you’ll find Cura monastery, where you can enjoy a coffee and cake at the café while soaking up the incredible views of Palma, the mountains and the bays.
The villa is also close to several world-class golf courses, with the closest being Golf Son Gual. A 10-minute drive from the villa, this 18-hole championship course features pristine greens flanked by olive trees, waterfalls and grapevines.
While the villa’s rural setting offers plenty of natural beauty and outdoor activity, for Michelin-starred restaurants and designer shopping, head 15-minutes by car to the capital, Palma, and spend the morning browsing the boutique stores strolling through the narrow lanes and soaking up the historic architecture. Be sure to stop at Palma Cathedral, one of Mallorca’s most historical landmarks and admire its beautiful stained glass windows, thin pillars and works of art. Gothic in design, the cathedral dates back to the fourteenth century, although its interiors were modernised in the twentieth century by Antoni Gaudi. Afterwards, head to the harbour and enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many lively restaurants. Away from the harbour, there’s an aquarium, a huge Spanish department store, and several daily markets, including a flower market and food market. Palma also boasts a vibrant nightlife, and come evening, the tapas bars, nightclubs and open-air venues teem with a fashionable crowd of partygoers.
If you want to feel the sand between your toes, there’s a lovely, long beach close to Palma and just a 15-minutes drive from the villa. Platja de Palma stretches for 4km and is perfect for families. Children can safely swim in the calm, shallow waters or enjoy the thrill of parasailing, banana boating and jet skiing; once you’ve exhausted the beach, head to the palm-fringed promenade for a snack at one of the beach restaurants.
