Recently built with country-style design and light, airy rooms, Villa Menut is a wonderful three-bedroom home near Felanitx in Mallorca. Situated in a peaceful and rural area, yet only 6km from the Felanitx town, the one-level Spanish home provides tranquillity whilst remaining close to amenities.
There are three bedrooms in the villa, two double and one twin room. Every room is not only spacious and airy and comes with air conditioning, so keeping cool whilst you sleep isn’t an issue. Each bedroom also comes with a built-in wardrobe; the double rooms have extra storage space, so you can unpack your bags and fully settle into your stay. All three bedrooms also contain a TV and access to the terrace. One of the double rooms also comes with an en-suite bathroom for an added bit of privacy. Aside from that, there are two other bathrooms, both containing showers.
Villa Menut benefits from a large and open plan kitchen dining area with an island, with light colours and large windows that let in lots of light. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need, from an oven to a coffee machine. The kitchen island is perfect for breakfast or keeping the designated cook entertained whilst they create delicious meals. If you head out to the terrace, you will also find a grill for you to use, as well as a lovely outdoor dining table so you can enjoy your meals al fresco.
The living space here is just past the dining table. There is a cosy sectional sofa against the wall facing the smart TV on the other wall, perfect for when you want to put your feet up and watch something in your downtime. Why not connect to the Wi-Fi and catch up with life back home, or stream some of your favourite content while you sink into the sofa.
The outdoor space at Villa Menut is highlighted by the wonderful private pool, with glistening water just waiting for you to jump in. There are a number of sun loungers that line the area, too, so you can catch a tan or read a book whilst enjoying the breeze. Take a seat on the swing chair under the terrace and sway gently as you read or simply take in the view. The lush grass and trees of the area compliment the blue pool and terracotta tones of the house to create a perfect picture.

The villa is perched in a quieter and less built-up area of the island, providing a peaceful and tranquil stay, but it also remains close to amenities and activities. The town of Felanitx itself is warm, welcoming, and drenched in culture and history as it dates back to the 13th century.
Located in the town of Felanitx is the Sanctuary of la Mare de Déu de Sant Salvador, a monastery with ties back to the 14th century. The incredibly historical point was built in the times of the black death, as it was believed that altitude was one of the ways to keep the disease away. Make sure to take a trip to it during your stay as at 509 metres above sea level, the monastery provides not only rich culture and history to take in but also spectacular views of the whole island.
There are plenty of restaurants in the local town of Felanitx, with the closest one to Villa Menut being just a six-minute drive away. The restaurants serve a wide range of food, so you will be sure to find something to fill your belly each day; there’s even a sushi restaurant just 12 minutes’ drive away! If you wish to make use of the villa’s fully equipped kitchen space or simply stock up on snacks to keep you going between activities, there are plenty of grocery shops in the town too.
There are a whole host of wonderful beaches across Mallorca, which is just one of the reasons why it makes such a wonderful and popular holiday destination. Es Trenc beach towards the south is just one, with warm white sand and clear turquoise water making it the perfect place to relax, tan, swim or simply take in the view.
