Making your way into the house, you’ll find the ultra-sleek, all-white living room bathed in sunlight thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows which wrap around the property. The owners had the villa built as a part of a special project, and the minimalist style furnishings are every bit as unique. The living room opens up onto one of several outdoor terraces but if you’re after more elevation, head up to the rooftop, which has a whirlpool and a chill-out area where guests spend their evenings watching the changing colours of the sky as the sun goes down.
The house interior comes in at 500m2, so there’s plenty of space and privacy if you want it. The eight bedrooms all come with spectacular views, satellite TV, a sound system, air conditioning and a mini-fridge. Each bedroom is decorated in immaculate white and offers little touches of luxury, from the chandeliers to the white tiled floors. The fresh and airy atmosphere flows through the house, and if the nights turn a bit chilly turn on one of the four fireplaces and get cosy with a glass of Spanish red.
The kitchen is ultra-modern and comes with everything you need for your stay, but if you don’t want to cook, you can let the chef take care of your every need. The house goes the extra mile with luxury extras, also offering a barman, butler and housekeeper.
On the lower level floor is the infinity pool. Undoubtedly the highlight of the property, it’s set amongst a spacious seating area, so sun-worshippers will be in their element. Guests love to spend hours here topping up their tans, and it’s no wonder when they’re underneath a seemingly endless bright blue sky. You’ll be surrounded by native countryside, so your time outdoors is guaranteed to be peaceful, private, and rejuvenating. There’s also a pool with waterfalls, a hidden cave, a floating cabin, a fountain, a pond and underwater windows. In the mood for dining al fresco? There are two barbecues as well as outdoor seating areas, which are perfect for entertaining. Iconic and world-famous, Ibiza town has the best of everything that Mediterranean island life has to offer. The port city has top restaurants, renowned nightclubs, and world-class shopping, and its instagrammable backdrops make it one of Europe’s most sought-after destinations. And if it wasn’t clear that the town is an absolute must-see, just take a look at the number of famous faces who return year after year to be seen at the luxury hotels and spectacular beaches.
There’s also a rich cultural heritage that comes with Ibiza town, which locals are understandably proud of. Visitors can take their pick from the old town and the new town, each with its own charms. The old town, the Dalt Vila, has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and much of the architecture and layout of the area has remained untouched since it was built in the 1600s. There’s also a gothic cathedral with stunning views of the coastline, as well as a fantastic array of museums, galleries, eateries, and local crafts shops. You’ll really feel like you’re walking through history as you meander the narrow cobbled streets and see everything the town has to offer.
A trip to Ibiza isn’t complete without hitting the beaches, and Ibiza town has easy access to some of the best beaches on the island! Cala Bassa’s reputation precedes it, and it’s easy to see why when you see its crystal clear water and white sands. The beach is a popular area for boats and water sports, but there’s a designated area for swimmers too. Pick a shady spot, and people watch or marvel at the daredevils who come here to jump off the rocks.
