See a different side to Ibiza at this whitewashed villa at the wilder northern end of the island. Among fragrant pine forest, it’s in the heart of hippy country, close to Las Dalias market and boho beaches like Cala Llenya, Cala Nova and Aguas Blancas. You can see why people come here to commune with nature – you’re surrounded by birdsong and feel cut off from real life (even though you’re within walking distance of San Carlos, a village with a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars). The home itself is a fantastic place to unwind: there are no less than five dining tables dotted around, perfect for reconnecting with family and friends over a home-cooked meal. As well as a well-equipped kitchen, there’s a traditional outdoor barbecue for grilling freshly caught fish. There’s also a pool, with ten sun loungers, an extra shower and bench seating for playing games in the shade. If the weather takes a turn, retire to the main living room (there are two), where you’ll find three double sofas, a glass-fronted fire, and a smart TV with Apple TV box. Families will love the children’s play area with its own Wendy House. This isn’t your typical hard-partying Ibiza pad – you’re a long way from the clubs – but if you’re looking to spend time with cherished friends or family members in pine-scented paradise, you’re on to a winner here.
