For a fat dose of serenity, sit out on the balcony with a freshly-brewed coffee and watch the sun rise on the horizon. Stay there as long as you’d like whilst the rest of the villa comes to life – we recommend taking this time to read or catch up on your favourite podcast before going out to explore the surroundings.
For a breakfast of Spanish tortillas to be truly enjoyed, take it outside and dine alfresco as the day warms up. Once you and the sun are both properly awake, head out to explore the historic city of Palma. There’s also the option of splitting up so some of the family can hit the golf course while others indulge in the water sports Port Nautico has to offer.
Meet up again for lunch at one of the authentic restaurants around the area – BIRDIE, for one, has a divine menu – before getting your feet in the sand at the beach. When you’re finally back home, light up the barbecue to get some fresh seafood sizzling on the grill, and relax with a pitcher of sangria as you watch dusk’s colour spill in the distance.
