This lovely villa can be found on Mallorca’s west coast in Costa de la Calma – fittingly, this home is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The villa is bright and cool, with antique furniture sitting alongside modern amenities – everything you might need is to hand so you can really focus on chilling out.
The round tower room is a real highlight, with windows all around providing views of the surroundings. The balconies and tower battlements showcase excellent views as well, stretching over the lush countryside – there’s real tranquillity here.
The garden is a little haven, lined with trees to provide shelter and privacy. The salt-water pool takes centre-stage outside, glistening in the sunlight. Will you swim laps, float on an inflatable, or dip a toe in from your sun lounger? In the afternoon, we’d definitely be setting up camp on the Balinese-style day bed to read and sip lemonade in the shade. In the evening, fire up the rustic brick barbecue and dine under the stars. The terrace is a great spot for alfresco dining.
When you’ve had your fill of R&R, you might be ready to explore. This is a fantastic area for trying out water sports and sailing, and there are plenty of great beaches within a few kilometres of the villa. Golfers might like to try out the links at Golf Santa Ponsa, while keen hikers and cyclists can head to Serra de Tramuntana. The short drive to Calvià makes for a lovely day trip – meander through the historic city and admire the ochre-coloured buildings that date back to the 17th century. Later on, call into a restaurant for tapas and watch the world go by.
