For an utterly unique holiday stay, Deluxe Havana offers a fantastic 1920’s mansion set in the beautiful Palma suburb of Sa Roqueta. Steeped in history, the architecture of this fantastic holiday home is sure to inspire any artistic minds, with eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms accommodating up to sixteen guests.
Although the history and traditional features of the villa make it feel truly one of a kind, the property was fully restored in 2018, adding a mix of modern chic into the old-world charm. On the ground floor you will find a large living room with a feature fireplace and access out to the sunny patio. The wine cellar is sure to be a popular feature for any connoisseurs in your group, with a different grape to try each night of your stay. Completing the ground floor is an en-suite double bedroom, with access leading out onto the patio so is occupiers can come and go with privacy.
The first floor boasts the villa’s main social spaces, with a separate formal dining room providing opportunity for all sixteen guests to gather, celebrating special occasions or just enjoying the time and to revel in each other’s company. The kitchen is bright and spacious, with a central island, breakfast bar and access to the terrace. Another lounge area and two en-suite double bedrooms are located on the same floor, each with their own personal access to the terrace.
On the top floor of the villa, with views over the neighborhood, you will find the remaining five bedrooms; including four en-suite double rooms and a master suite. The master offers that little bit of luxury you have been waiting for, with its own private tower terrace and a beautiful en-suite bathroom.
Of course, no trip to Mallorca is complete without plenty of time in the year-round sunshine that the island is renowned for. Deluxe Havana does not disappoint with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, al-fresco dining and a series of outdoor seating and lounge areas, all providing endless opportunities to relax. The private swimming pool is heated, so you can enjoy a dip no matter the temperature, moving to one of adjacent sun loungers to read your book and drift off, soaking in every magical moment. Mallorca has been consistently at the top of Mediterranean travel lists for a long while and it is no surprise with endless sandy beaches, blue seas and beautiful scenery around every corner of the island. A tale of two halves, some aspects of the island are lively and vibrant with the bustle of tourists and bars alongside idyllic beaches, whilst other zones offer quieter, more intimate lifestyles and rugged scenery.

Whilst there are plenty of enchanting parts to the city, the main attractions and shops are spread around the vast Gothic cathedral down by the seafront in Palma’s old town. Ancient passages wind around, with historic monuments and magnificent architecture on every corner. Packed within a small area, the old town is easy to explore, yet you can easily loose hours to the quirky cafes, boutique galleries and independent shops, with plenty of restaurants and refreshment stops to keep you energized.
Balancing time exploring the city and afternoons relaxing on the beach, there is plenty more to see and do on this magnificent island. Golfers will enjoy the array of courses on offer, and the island has long become a hub for cyclists in the Mediterranean. The Mallorca 312 draws 8,000 cyclists every year to ride the 312km route with an altitude gain of 5,050metres and 14 hours to complete the course! For competitors and spectators alike, it is very entertaining.
For a quieter relaxation, the beaches near the city are beautiful. Cala Major is a great option if you want to stay near the villa, offering a long stretch of busy sandy beach with a hotel complex and plenty of refreshments. A little further down the coast, you will also find Platja de Santa Ponça, a vast beach set in a picturesque bay, with sunbeds, water sports and a restaurant-lined promenade.
