Sitting in a beautiful elevated position just outside of Playa Blanca, the sprawling Casa Playa Blanca enjoys gorgeous mountain and sea views. It is located in a quiet residential area with easy access to the delights of Playa Blanca. The villa offers four bedrooms sleeping 8 guests so is ideal for a large family or a group of friends.
Playa Blanca is a tourist magnet that has retained its village charm. It is located on the south side of Lanzarote  with a wide range of restaurants, bars, a new shopping centre and a wonderful port. The gorgeous Papgayos Beaches are white sand wonders with crystal clear water lapping against the rocks. The Playa Blanca boardwalk is fabulous. If the charms of Lanzarote are not enough to keep you busy, it is very easy to take a boat over to the nearby island of Fuerteventura.
Casa Playa Blanca offers very spacious accommodation and delightful outdoor space. The chef in your group will be blown over by the villa’s kitchen. It is an enormous space with more cupboards than you could ever use. It is very sociable with a huge island and numerous stools where everyone can pour a glass of wine and keep the chef company. The appliances are top notch and there are even two of some, such as fridges and freezers!The living room is also spacious with a huge, comfy U-shaped sofa and another sofa plus the usual flat screen television with good channels.
The four bedrooms are comprised of an enormous master with a superking bed and ensuite bathroom, another with a kingsize bed, another with a queensize bed and finally a twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom and a further shower room to share.
Guests staying a Casa Playa Blanca will enjoy the outdoor space. There is a pretty courtyard with a small fountain, lots of succulent plants and a sun drenched dining table, another stone-walled succulent garden and a large pool area. The shaded terrace that runs alongside the villa enjoys a superb built-in alfresco dining area with a marble table and bench seating, a bar and an alfresco lounge area. There are sun loungers surrounding the swimming pool. It is very easy to find a quiet corner in this villa for your holiday read. There is also a well-equipped gym for keep fit enthusiasts. You are in for a sun-kissed getaway at Playa Blanca. With pristine, soft sanded beaches, an impressive yachting marina and a wonderful array of bars and restaurants, it is a busy resort with a welcoming, cheerful ambience. It has a history of pirates and adventure and offers an excellent range of boat trips and other excursions. It is the third largest tourist area on the island and is a popular spot for families. With a wonderful boardwalk brimming with restaurants, shops and bars, it offers much fun and entertainment. Dorada and Flamingo Beaches are very popular for their white sand and proximity to the centre though the beaches of Papagayo are the most idyllic. With a network of fine, white sandy coves, guests can enjoy the strong sunshine no matter what time of year and also enjoy the nature reserve.
The Timanfaya National Park is very close to the villa with a chain of volcanoes known as the Montanas de Fuego. Many animal species live here including the Haria lizard, crows, seagulls and shearwaters. The La Mancha Blanca Visitor’s Centre offers a permanent exhibition with interactive panels and volcanic simulation. The first site to visit in the park is Hilario’s Islet with underground temperatures of 140 degrees C or 284 degrees F only 10cm below the surface. At Ruta de los Volcanes you can watch all the points of interest in the park. Special buses take you on a 14km trip through the main volcanic zones where you will see the volcanoes, lava tongues, stoves and volcanic tubes.
Another must see are the Janubio salt flats with their amazing colours. The salt industry used to be very important in the Canary Islands, with 26 sites back in the 1940’s. Now there are only 3 functioning salt flats with Janubio being the largest. Other attractions include La Geria with its vineyards, El Golfo with its green lagoon, Los Hervideros and the charming village of Yaiza. Yaiza stands out amongst the villages of Lanzarote for its very well-kept streets and houses decorated with flowers. You can also visit the charming village of Las Brenas, where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Playa Blanca with Fuerteventura in the distance.
