Nestled in the lively resort of Golf del Sur on the southern coast of Tenerife, Tenerife Oasis offers immaculate, smart and spacious accommodation to families and groups of friends. The championship Golf del Sur course was opened in 1987 and remodelled in 2005, featuring volcanic black sand bunkers, various water hazards, towering palms and captivating cacti. The club also boasts a driving range, mini golf, a putting and chipping green, a golf academy, tennis courts and a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant. The resort is family friendly with plenty of restaurants lining a delightful promenade that links Golf del Sur with San Blas. Golf del Sur enjoys a rocky coastline, sweeping seascapes and a backdrop of Spain’s tallest mountain, the dramatic Mount Teide. Tenerife Oasis is incredibly spacious with every light filled room enjoying comfortable, traditional furnishings. The villa boasts four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an incredibly well fitted kitchen, an open plan living space, a gym and beautiful wrap around garden with entertainment areas and two pools. The living space is filled with comfy sofas and chairs, all attractively adorned with scatter cushions that match the curtains. A very large television is provided for your entertainment with Sky channels. An arch leads through to a large dining space which in turn leads through another arch to the immaculate chef’s dream of a kitchen. Here you will find all the appliances required for your self catering break, a central island and a massive range of cabinetry.
The villa boasts four very generous sized bedrooms, two of which enjoy kingsize beds and the other two with twin beds. Hotel quality lines adorn the comfy beds and there is plenty of wardrobe space. Like the bedrooms, the quality bathrooms are enormous with walk-in showers and one with a huge jacuzzi bath. One of the bathrooms is ensuite.
The outside entertainment spaces of the villa are wonderful. The villa offers two swimming pools, a heated one at the front of the villa and another pool at the rear. The garden wraps around the villa with a shaded alfresco dining area and lounge area in one corner with a built-in and gas barbecue, a gorgeous shaded porch with another alfresco dining area and more rattan lounge furniture next to the pool, a sun deck on the far side of the main pool with plenty of loungers and parasols, a separate area for the smaller pool and the outdoor games and gym area for those that want to keep up their fitness levels and enjoy some friendly competitive fun. The gym area offers a treadmill, elliptical cross trainer and weights. All areas of this delightful villa are beautifully maintained. Tenerife Oasis enjoys a lovely location in Golf del Sur, a family friendly golf resort on the south coast of Tenerife. Guests can walk to restaurants, shops and plenty of entertainment. The gorgeous Playa de San Blas Beach is just over 2 km away so you might want to drive to that one! You will be at the villa in no time at all as it is less than 6 km from Tenerife South Airport.
Golf del Sur boasts a truly wonderful golf course with lush greens, fabulous black sandy bunkers, towering palms and some interesting water hazards. The club enjoys an excellent clubhouse and other facilities including mini golf and tennis. The neighbouring resort of San Blas enjoys a commercial centre with a popular nightclub and live music.
There are many famous tourist spots on Tenerife, both for entertainment and scenic beauty. The southern resorts offer white sandy beaches, revelry and clubbing while the dramatic highs of the mountains offer amazing views and extraordinary beauty with some of the most fabulous hiking in the whole of Spain. There are cultured port settlements, tropical forest walks, carnival celebrations, a famous water park and a range of museums and temples for modern art. Visitors can enjoy golf, cycling, diving, snorkeling, water sports, spa treatments, tennis and the island’s fantastic range of dining opportunities.
The sensational panorama from the peak of Mount Teide can be enjoyed by taking a cable car to the top. On a clear day, the volcanic valley captures the eye and you can see the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. The stunning, volcanic Teide Park has to be a highlight of any visit to Tenerife.
Puerto de la Cruz is home to Jardin Botanico, a magnificent botanical garden with plants from all over the world, including roses, tropical and subtropical plants, palms, herbs and a giant 200 year old Australian Moreton Bay fig. It was established in 1788.
Art lovers enjoy the brilliant Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, a dramatic, contemporary arts centre in Santa Cruz. This incredible building was designed by the Swiss architects and Pritzker Prize Laureates Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron. Their portfolio also includes London’s Tate Modern. The three galleries and stunnng library display incredibly creative art, photography and installation exhibitions.
La Laguna Old Town is close to Santa Cruz and is considered to be the cultural capital of the island. It is an important historical centre, a real step back in time with elegant buildings from the 15th-17th century. It features fine palaces, many churches and various religious buildings. One of the loveliest squares is Plaza del Adelantado, home to the town hall and a convent. Plaza del Crito boasts a lively market selling flowers and produce.
