Featuring everything you could possibly need to enjoy a luxurious and relaxing holiday in the sun, we proudly present Casa Migjorn, a stunning three-bedroom villa located in glorious San Jaime near Son Bou beach. Enjoying a privileged hilltop location and showcasing breathtaking ocean views, this traditional-style villa is incredible both inside and out. The interior is bright and spacious, with large sliding glass doors which flood the rooms with light and a light, neutral decor throughout. The lounge area is wonderfully stylish, with a plush grey corner sofa and contemporary-style lighting fixtures and furnishings featuring natural materials. There is a wall-mounted flatscreen TV for your entertainment, which adds to a wonderful space to chill out with the family at the end of a busy day.
If you want to dine inside, there is ample space in the adjoining dining room, which features a stylish oval dining table that seats up to four guests. Meals can be rustled up in Casa Migjorn’s well-equipped kitchen, which features the same natural colour palette with cream tiles, whitewashed brickwork and dazzling white units. This charming space includes plenty of high-end appliances for guests to use during their stay, including an integrated oven and hob, blender, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher and washing machine.
The villa’s three bedrooms are located on the first floor of the villa, and all include air-conditioning for your comfort, dressing rooms and private balconies – a wonderful spot for taking in the views over a morning cuppa. The first room features a double bed and a baby bed – the perfect room for a couple travelling with a very young child – and benefits from an ensuite bathroom with both a bathtub and shower facilities. A second double bedroom shares a bathroom (also with both a bathtub and shower) with the third bedroom, a stylish twin that makes a great room for older kids. All three rooms are decorated in the same light, fresh style as the rest of the villa and are complete with comfortable beds that promise a restful night’s sleep.
Casa Migjorn has some beautiful outdoor spaces, with pretty shaded garden areas and a built-in barbecue for alfresco dining, and fully-furnished terraces for relaxing with a good book or for sitting back and soaking up the sun. The front porch overlooks the villa’s beautiful infinity pool, which is enclosed for security and safety and is easily accessible via stainless steel ladder and handrails. While taking a refreshing dip, guests can look out over the ocean and the soft golden sands of Son Bou beach – an idyllic and mesmerising view that won’t soon be forgotten. Casa Migjorn’s prime hilltop location offers guests the very best panoramic sea views, with Son Bou beach and the town centre bursting with restaurants and boutiques less than 1km away.
Son Bou Beach is one of the longest stretches of sand on the island and features elevated timber walkways over the sand dunes that provide easy access for pushchairs, prams and wheelchairs and which make it popular with visitors who have small children and those with limited mobility. Even though the beach can get busy during the summer months and does have areas that are frequented by naturists, there’s enough space that it should be easy to find a quiet spot to set up for the day and enjoy the clear, shallow waters and soft sands. You’ll find plenty of family-friendly amenities here, such as lots of on-duty lifeguards, a first-aid post, a sun lounger and parasol hire, and a wide range of water sports activities that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
Near Son Bou beach, you’ll find Club San Jaime, which is open from late morning until early evening, and features some exciting water slides that the kids (and the adults!) will enjoy – Excellence Luxury Villas recommends spending an hour or so here on a hot day, it’s great fun and very reasonably priced.
If you head into the centre of Son Bou, you’ll find several good supermarkets, ideal for those who are self-catering, as well as plenty of places to buy well-priced trinkets and souvenirs. There are also ATMs, a good taxi rank, and an excellent bus service available if you want to travel a little further afield to Santo Tomas, which is also accessible along the coastal path if you fancy the walk. Santo Tomas is a slightly quieter resort than Son Bou, and this beautiful village is popular with families with young children. The resort is a nature-lovers paradise that features gorgeous remote beaches, countryside walks and cycling tracks – ideal for those who want to get away from it all and enjoy all of the beauty and peace that this island has to offer.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
