The secure community of Puerto Del Capitan is surrounded by prestigious golf courses including Los Arqueros, La Quinta, El Higueral, Guadalmina and Los Naranjos. Just around the corner, Benahavis boasts many high class restaurants scattered along the narrow, winding streets. It is very picturesque, reached through the Rio Guadalmina gorge up into the hills. Close by, La Aldea is almost a village within a village, the brainchild of the British sculptor David Marshall. His gallery is one of La Aldea’s main features, along with the marble fountains, antiques and old-fashioned doors and grilles. Within minutes, guests of Casa Capitan can be relaxing on the Costa del Sol’s sunkissed beaches or living it up in the celebrity hotspots of Puerto Banus and Marbella.
The magnificent Casa Capitan is built over three levels with living space and bedrooms on the lower level together with the gardens and pool, the kitchen diner with a small living space on the first floor and the other bedrooms scattered between the first and second floors. Guests with bedrooms on the ground floor have the luxury of opening their trendy doors and taking early morning swims or enjoying a morning cup of coffee on the terrace. The pool is wonderful and is surrounded by a lush lawn, gardens and the terrace. The loungers and parasols are of the best quality, beautiful to complement the pool and terrace. Alfresco dining can be taken on the terrace or above on the spacious first floor balcony. The villa enjoys a large recreational lawn and stunning tropical gardens, a beautiful arrangement of landscaped design. There is a very special illumination system which makes the whole villa look truly spectacular at night. Gym enthusiasts will be delighted to find some equipment.
With a minimalist design, its Scandinavian and industrial touches and fantastic use of glass, the interiors are stunning. The lower living space features sumptuous cream sofas adorned with black scatter cushions, the ideal place to chill. Above, the chef’s dream of a kitchen is very striking in black to match the door and window frames and with a dazzling white worktop. The appliances, including a wine fridge, are fantastic. Dinner can be enjoyed inside or outside on the balcony. Two trendy chairs sit in front of another television and a feature fire. The spacious balcony enjoys luxurious lounge furniture as well as its alfresco dining and a barbecue. Throughout the villa, you will find striking black and white tones and warm woods.
The bedrooms are gorgeous havens, all with kingsize beds, terrace or balcony access and immaculate bathrooms to use. Each has its own special touches from macrame wall hangings to handmade wooden furnishings, all beautiful and stylish. There will not be any arguements about bedrooms here, they are all stunning!

Casa Capitan is located in the exclusive and tranquil urbanisation of Puerto Del Capitan, close to the village of Benahavis, inland from Marbella and Estapona. It is minutes from amazing golf courses, stunning beaches and the entertainment of the upscale resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Benahavis, the village, might be small but it is home to many fabulous restaurants and is known as the ‘Gastronomic Corner of Andalucia’. It is home to the Sabor, a Malaga catering school. Many of the dishes in the restaurants are Spanish but with a modern twist. One of the most typical dishes is marinated pork fillet following a very traditional recipe but you will also find fresh fish from Estapona and Marbella and cuisine from many corners of the world. There are many prestigious golf courses in the Benahavis area including El Higueral Club de Golf, La Quinta, La Zagaleta, Gran Flamingo Golf, Los Argueros designed by Seve Ballesteros, Los Flamingos Golf and Monte Mayor Golf. There is even a Golf Academy complete with practice ground and putting green in the village. It is a wonderful area to enjoy a walk or cycle, exploring the fauna and flora as well as the views. The terrain is traversed by the Guadalmina, Guadaiza and Guadalmanza rivers. The Guadalmina River offers great canyoning opportunities with its many waterfalls and plunge pools. The top attraction of Benahavis is its natural surroundings and uniterrupted views of mountains, woodlands and rivers. The village itself is picturesque with well-kept narrow streets and squares flanked by Andalusian whitewashed houses. The delightful Parque Torre Leoneras Park contains the ruins of a medieval tower and a lake. The 10th century Montemayor Castle is mostly ruins but still has several sections of walls and the Queen’s Tower standing. Benahavis boasts a lovely car boot style Sunday market in the grounds of a shrine. Benahavis’ Holy Week has some of the loveliest processions on the Costa del Sol. The annual Benahavis Fair takes place in August and the whole village enjoys processions, fairground rides, fireworks, eating and drinking. There are also summer concerts and culinary events in the many Benahavis restaurants.
The Costa del Sol has 23 stunning, sandy beaches along its 27kms of coastline. Close to the villa you will discover the beautiful San Pedro Beach, Playa Fontanilla, Playa Naguelese, Playa Cabopino, Playa de la Rada and Playa del Padron in Estapona. With 325 sunny days, the climate is fantastic and perfect for wonderful beach days. Many of the beaches enjoy fabulous watersports and groovy beach bars.
Marbella is renowned for its Michelin-starred restaurants, fabulous golf courses, luxury yacht marinas, designer boutiques and stunning golden sandy beaches. Plaza de los Naranjos, the old part of Marbella is utterly charming with its gorgeous Arabic characteristics and balconies adorned with colourful bougainvillea and other flowers. The roads are lined with unique, friendly local shops offering souvenirs, olive oil, local pottery and lace. The stunning Plaza de la Iglesia often hosts buzzy markets and concerts.
Puerto Banus, designed and built in 1970 by local property developer Jose Banus, is fantastic for shopping, dining and star spotting. Again, it is a playground for the rich with plenty of Ferraris and luxury yachts to admire.
