The kitchen contains an assortment of dark wooden cupboards and granite countertops, bending tradition and style in one unique space.  Pollensa Closi is home to two marvellous bedrooms, each following a bucolic theme. The first bedroom includes a spacious double bed that is fitted with an intricate rattan bed frame. This room also uses a selection of wooden furniture to create a balanced and united style. The second bedroom includes a pair of single beds as well as a range of authentic artwork. Thus, this space is instantly transformed into an enchanting paradise that is perfect for two small children. This property also includes a time-honoured bathroom with a large shower.Pollensa is a truly mesmerising region that is well known for its varied selection of tourist attractions and hotspots. Puig de Maria is a renowned religious landmark that is based just over 5-minutes away from the centre of Pollensa. This monument is home to an archaic 14th monastery that has been a key piece of the region’s history for generations. This monastery was first built as a shrine to the Virgin Mary but has undergone many changes in its time, especially during the 19th century when it was refurbished in order to fit in with the Gothic revival occurring at the time. Guests can enter this building and explore the well-preserved fixtures and artefacts that showcase Pollensa’s long religious history. Many previous guests say that Puig de Maria only takes 30-minutes to climb, making it a very accessible journey. If you are looking to blend in with the locals during your time here, the Pollensa Market is a must-see attraction. This market welcomes over 300 stalls, selling a range of clothes, bags, and other handmade craft items. Plus, there is also a plethora of plants and fresh produce on offer, allowing guests to gain a true taste of Pollensa’s exquisite food scene. Guests are encouraged to browse through the stalls and pick up a few souvenirs to treat themselves whilst on holiday. Pollensa Market is just a short walk away from the town centre and is open every Sunday from 8 am till 1:30 pm. Placa de l’Almonia is also just a stone’s throw away from the town centre and is a real treat for any European history fanatic. This idyllic square is home to a house that was used to provide essential items to Pollensa’s peasants during the 15th century. The house was run by wealthy university students who used their funds to offer wheat and money to disadvantaged citizens. Placa de l’Almonia was also a battleground during the 16th century when ambushers decided to unleash a ruthless attack on this small town. Thus, modern-day citizens hold a beautiful ceremony every August to remember the natives who lost their lives during this conflict.
